Innovation

Our approach to innovation is grounded in collaboration. Our strongest work emerges through right relationship with our clients, builders, design teams, researchers, and the socio-ecological communities in which we serve. Built at the pace of trust, these partnerships foster built environments that are deeply connected to the cultural and ecological realities of their place.

In ecology, ecotones are zones of transition, creating conditions for biodiversity, resilience, and abundance. We bring this dynamic to our practice through interdisciplinary collaboration rooted in regenerative ecological design, biomimicry, and design justice.

Through the CoLab for Ecological Design and Restoration (CEDaR) we integrate academic research with design practice. CEDaR is a collaborative research project between the EcoVisualization Studio at the University of Victoria and Christine Lintott Architects. Our interdisciplinary team brings expertise across landscape architecture, planning, architecture, and ecological restoration. By bridging ecological restoration with design methodologies, we develop real-world strategies for creating built environments that regenerate ecosystems, support resilient communities, and cultivate ecologically responsible novel natures.
