Christine joins Passive House Canada discussion panel
Christine was invited to share her insights on high-performance building design—alongside friends from Women in Engineering, Science, and Technology (WEST), Meghan Whyte & Emily Murray. Thank you Introba, Andy Chong, for hosting!
"Hosted by Andy Chong from Introba, we’ll showcase two presentations that explore the importance of better buildings for everyone.
We’ll begin with a presentation featuring firsthand insights from WEST (Women in Engineering, Science and Technology) at the University of Victoria. Discover how they built and tested their own small-scale passive house prototypes, along with the successes and challenges they encountered along the way. Hear directly from the future workforce about their thoughts on Passive House and why they might consider joining the industry.
We’ll follow with a second presentation from local architect Christine Lintott who talks about her experience designing human-centric high-performance buildings, including an activity center with extensive design considerations for people with mental and physical health challenges. Leave inspired and equipped with valuable lessons you can apply to your future passive house projects.
This promises to be an informative and interactive evening, complete with Q&A, food and beverages, and networking opportunities.
This event is free for Passive House Canada members."
