Alia Johnson is a Registered Professional Landscape Architect in the province of British Columbia. She is trained as an urban planner and a landscape architect with over 13 years of experience working on projects in Canada and internationally.

Her diverse project portfolio includes public parks, private gardens, urban design, master planning, site programming, and policy development. She has extensive experience in public engagement and facilitation and enjoys working collaboratively with clients, regulators, and the public to find creative solutions to complex problems.

Alia has worked in both the public and private sectors and understands the complexities of successful project delivery for both private clients and local governments. She strives to create robust and beautiful places that are thoughtfully integrated into their ecological context, function across seasons and scales, and connect people to nature and each other.

When not working with the CLA team to find integrated landscape solutions, you’ll find Alia working in her garden or finding inspiration in our local forests and shorelines with her family and a camera.
