Emmalyn has always had an interest in ecology and a love of forests which she worked into her architectural designs in school, writing her master’s thesis on the role architecture can play in reforesting.

She is really excited about all things wood, especially mass timber projects and biodegradable material exploration. Outside of the built world she spends her time incorporating ecologic themes into painting and sewing projects with a cup of tea close at hand.
