The Pacifica at Burnside School is a multi stakeholder community project that consists of a four storey and five storey building over one level of underground vehicle and bicycle parking. The five storey building supports a daycare, after-school care, and classroom/learning spaces to be utilized be the School District 61 and the Burnside Gorge Community Association. The two buildings frame a plaza that will include a playground, as well as both hardscape and softscape areas for the community, residents, and users of the site.

The project reflects all BC Housing Design Guidelines from unit arrangements and size to interior and exterior finishes. The building is of wood frame construction and was developed with WELL and biophilic design considerations for sustainability, targeting Step Three compliance with the new Energy Step Code.
