633 Belton Avenue

MISSING MIDDLE HOUSING

Victoria, BC

Focusing on healthy family living, 633 Belton Avenue features 2 adaptable living units intended for aging in place and 4 large family-sized units. The units are within a building form that matches the character and relative proportions of other homes in the neighbourhood. Designed for people rather than cars, the project has incorporated generous indoor bicycle parking in place of on-site vehicle parking. A large portion of the parking spaces is dedicated to large-sized cargo/family bikes and mobility scooters. The nearby Galloping Goose trail provides safe and direct access to Victoria’s AAA bike network. Occupants will be given access to an electric car share vehicle parked on the street in front of the building.
